Our mission is to come together in the spirit of fellowship and praise to unify, preserve, and teach the hymns and rites of the Coptic Orthodox Church handed down by our church fathers to subsequent generations. The Chorus has established a school in order to continue its mission through the Grace of God, the prayers of His Holiness Pope Shenouda III, and the guidance of His Grace Bishop David.
Seraphim Chorus prayed and recorded the Divine Liturgy with Hegumen Fr. Marcos Abdelmessih. The liturgy was prayed in Coptic and Arabic using prayers from both the liturgy of St. Basil and the liturgy of St. Gregory.
Seraphim Chorus led the deacons' and congregational responses at the Sixth Annual Orthodox Prayer Service for the United Nations community. This prayer service included the broadest forum of Eastern and Oriental Orthodox cooperation in North America. At this event, the vespers prayer was conducted according to the rites of the Coptic Church.
